Multi-Zone Intranet Deployment Using a Bootstrap Script and Autoscaling Automation 

• Tasked to deploy a highly available company intranet static web portal across multiple availability zones using Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) instances orchestrated behind an Elastic Load Balancer (ELB). Managed instance scaling through an autoscaling group (ASG), employing EC2 CPU or network usage as the metric for dynamic scaling. Implemented CloudWatch monitoring and a custom dashboard for real-time metrics visualization and configured Simple Notification Service (SNS) alerts for autoscaling events. Customized bootstrapping scripts facilitated retrieval of website files from Simple Storage Service (S3) with read-only access permissions, alongside automatic setup, installation of an Apache Web Server, configuration, and display of web pages, dynamically showcasing the Application Load Balancer (ALB) toggle between EC2 instance IDs and Availability Zones (AZ) retrieved from metadata endpoints.

Multi-tiered Architectures: Serverless

• Project lead for the deployment of a comprehensive virtual network spanning multiple availability zones within a regional context using CloudFormation. Orchestrated the setup of diverse resources including DynamoDB, S3, API Gateways, and Lambda functions to ensure a robust infrastructure. Structured a multifaceted architecture comprising RDS for data tier, leveraging EFS, for the storage tier, and EC2 for the presentation tier. Ensured seamless accessibility with dual configurations enabling both public and private access, aligning precisely with the organization's operational necessities.

Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD Usage

• Participated in the development of a cross-platform memory match game using Flutter and AWS Amplify, primarily for front end deployment. Utilizing command-line interfaces, I set up the Flutter environment and integrated AWS Amplify services for authentication, GraphQL API, and database functionalities. Through command-line operations, I constructed the game application and synchronized it with the Amplify backend using GraphQL API. Utilizing Amplify's authentication capabilities, I streamlined user authentication processes with the Amplify Authenticator UI library. Finally, I successfully deployed and hosted the game online using Amplify Hosting, showcasing the versatility of Flutter and Amplify for cross-platform app development and cloud integration.
