Summary

In April 2023, I began working at Evolve Telecom, LLC. In my time with this company, I have led a crew of 3-4 individuals as we oversee the installation of fiber optics in various Illinois towns. As of the end of May 2023, I've pulled over 499,000 feet of fiber alongside my crew. Beyond the installation of fiber, I am also reading and deciphering blueprints, communicating with the project managers of these builds, and planning ahead to ensure my team always has adequate work.

Prior to my position at Evolve Telecom, LLC, I served 13 years in the United States Navy from 2009-2023 with exemplary service as a First Class Petty Officer. Upon my departure with the Navy, I was a leading flight deck petty officer serving on the USS Lewis B. Puller in June 2018. My five years at the USS Puller consisted of supervising 32 sailors for the safe and efficient launch, recovery, and movement of all embarked aircraft. I was a training team member for the air department, anti-terrorism, medical, and damage control. I was a proven leader, effective communicator, and morale builder among all sailors deployed.

In May 2015 I was stationed in Pensacola, FL where I assumed the responsibility and title of ABH School Instructor. I completed the Certified Instructor Evaluation Program and was designated as a Certified Instructor. As a Leading Petty Officer, I led 10 instructors in training more than 56 fleet sailors, as well as 4,700 newly accessed students in Basic Aircraft Firefighting procedures with over 2,852 high-risk man-hours. As Auxiliary Security Force, I led and coordinated a 23 sailor team, providing 552 man-hours of armed sentry and patrol services, safeguarding 7 entry control points over three NAS Pensacola installations.

In April 2010, I was sent to my first duty station in Bremerton, WA on the USS John C. Stennis. Because I had had an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice, I began my Navy career as an E3. My dedication, reliability, outstanding work ethic, and team building helped me quickly move through the ranks to an E5. As a Hangar Deck Director, I took part in the execution of 6,492 aircraft moves in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. I was consistently team oriented, driven, and a passionate mentor to all sailors I worked alongside.

As far as hobbies and interests, I am a very family oriented man. My free time includes spending time with the family, playing card games, computer games, etc. I like to work around the house and occasionally go site seeing with my wife and children.
