High-performing Senior Compensation Specialist with solid background in human resources. Analyzes and evaluates job duties and requirements using understanding of compensation and benefits laws and regulations. Strong organizational skills with keen eye for detail.
Gather market data to perform compensation analysis as well as market adjustments
Perform benchmarking analysis to assign salary plans and grades
Review proposals for new or revised classifications to determine appropriate exempt or non-exempt assignment in accordance with federal regulations
Gather job descriptions from various facilities to modify, update, and upload into the HR document scanning system
Collect job descriptions along with completed ADA checklist from facilities in efforts to upload all documents prior to the facilities’ go-live rollout
Manage cases within Peoplesoft, assisting employees, leadership and Human Resources Directors
Correspond between payroll and recruitment teams regarding job code changes and position changes
Collaborate with the Compensation COE (Center of Expertise - Strategic) team in matters dealing with Job Architecture, an initiative to streamline job descriptions that can be used universally throughout the facilities within our Shared Services structure.
Serve as a point of contact for Compensation Specialists for any questions or issues
Responsible for assigning our workload (cases, transactions) to our team members
Engage in process improvement and standard operating procedures
