My military career afforded my the opportunity manage large fleets of diverse equipment, I was also in charge of countless personnel from all different types of backgrounds. I have been responsible for managing fleets during peace time as well as deploying my organizations equipment in austere environments and setting up remote maintenance operating areas such as Iraq and Afghanistan.   • This job required myself and a crew of seven OGC personnel and 15 support contractors to not only plan the upcoming preventative maintenance services, I also had to ensure that each PM Kit had all required service parts as well a mandatory replacement parts.

  • Senior maintenance and supply chain advisor to the Brigade Commander of an Air Defense Brigade. As the maintenance and supply chain expert, provided technical advice on all maintenance related matters within the organization.
  • Responsible for approving all Class IX supply transactions in the Standard Army Retail Supply System (SARSS-2) Manager Review File (MRF) for the brigade. Assisted the Command Team in the budget development for all Class IX maintenance expenditures.

Accomplishments

During my time working at Oceana Gold, I was able to consistently keep my fleet availability over the target of 88% with a meantime between failure of 120 hours with a tartget of 80 hours. What this means is that when my equipment left from scheduled maintenance, it was able to go for more than 250 hours of a 500 hour period without failure. This is due to my continuous focus and emphasis on preventative maintenance and addressing issues during scheduled service rather than reactive repairs.
