Organizes and manages day-to-day operations at the detention center. Ensures compliance with established policies and procedures. Reviews reports, records, and other work products submitted to ensure accuracy, completeness, and thoroughness. Assigns work or watch assignments. Fostering collaboration and leadership by working well with culturally diverse individuals, fostering teamwork, and building strong working relationships with employees and the public.

• Supervising, training, and managing a team of 6 Correctional Officers. Monitoring and controlling access to the facility and restricted areas. Controlling movement of inmates. Escorting and transporting inmates in authorized state vehicles. Conducting formal, informal and emergency counts. Conducting searches for contraband. Utilizing proper protocols when responding to emergency situations, such as fights, medical emergencies, fires and escapes. Documenting incidents utilizing established reporting practices.
