- Determines the type and quantity of a particular type of weapon required to achieve a specific level of target damage to a given target, considering target vulnerability, weapon effect, munitions delivery accuracy, damage criteria, probability of kill and weapon reliability.
- Ensuring the effectiveness of munitions employment. Minimizes the amount of weapons required to achieve desired effects and minimizes collateral damage.
- Applies quantitative and qualitative techniques and methodologies to determine the probabilities of mission success. Analyze complex plans and strategies.
- Identifies potential vertical obstructions. Oversees the measurement of vertical obstacle in the target terminal area.
- Determines and sets run in heading restrictions and constraints to ensure weapon success of reaching the target.
- Performs Target Coordination Mensuration analyst duties. Generates precise geographic coordinates and produces Joint Desired Point of Impact (JDPI) for coordinates seeking weapons.
- Utilizes imagery and National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) validated tools. Demonstrates the mastery of photogrammetric theory.
- Leads and mentors newly trained analyst in the production of weaponeering solutions and electronic target folder development.
