Monitored entrances to restricted parking areas in compliance with special identification and controlled procedures, safety measures, and posted regulations. Checked identification of vehicles, confirmed admittance, and directed and controlled movement of personnel and vehicles.

Patrolled designated areas by foot or in vehicles inspecting the buildings and adjacent grounds to prevent unauthorized entry and access to restricted rooms and areas.

Responded to reports of crimes and criminal reports within the jurisdiction of authority. Notified law enforcement for offenses not within SPO jurisdictional and/or legislative authority.

Reported fires, accidents and safety hazards; checked and secured exterior of building entrances and windows; detected and apprehended unauthorized personnel; and noted any unusual appearance or deviation from normal operations.
