I have a long tenure in this organization, essentially overseeing the development of the entire department. I brought a skillset for advanced biliary endoscopy that did not exist before my arrival. When I arrived in Fond du lac there was very little in the arena of gastroenterology. Over the years I have been instrumental in the expansion to now having four gastroenterologist with advanced techniques, five mid level providers and an endoscopy suite which performs approximately 7000 cases per year.

Our department has been on the forefront in utilizing quality evidence based measures to improve patient care and outcomes-long before it was a norm. We were very early users of the GIQUIC system to track and improve patient outcomes.

I routinely perform EGD, colonoscopy, RFA for appropriate conditions, therapeutic ERCP. I am also capable of performing breath studies, pH studies, manometry of the esophagus.

I would consider this bread and butter gastroenterology with the addition of a high quality therapeutic ERCP capability.
