• Developed technical skills including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, administering injections and performing radiographs;
• Monitored anesthesia during surgical procedures;
• Performed dental cleaning and scaling;

• Provided everyday training, exercise and care for municipal shelter dogs;
• Evaluated dogs to create behavioral management plans;
• Responded to urgent behavioral issues appropriately to prevent human and animal injuries;
• Developed and followed cleaning and disinfectant protocols to prevent spread of diseases, including a shelter-wide influenza outbreak;
• Arranged and transported animals to and from veterinarian hospitals;

• Worked alongside the animal control department to ensure the safety and wellbeing of Evanston's animals;
• Designed and created a website for the shelter to maximize adoptions.
