As an assistant director/teacher my duties are to help the director run the school to the best of our abilities. We implement team management, assigning staff to specific tasks and duties, communicating with parents, giving tours of the school, cleaning, organizing kids files, maintaining state lunch program, hands on with kids from birth and up, planning activities and crafts. Making sure all the children have a safe and fun environment while under my care.
As Assistant director and teacher I feel I have achieved great communication skills with kids and parents, team guidance, time management, and a great appreciation for children and their development. I have achieved great leadership skills that helped my in running the school and classroom.
