Education and Development Coordinator
- Conduct training needs assessments with management to develop targeted plans to enhance team and individual competencies.
- o Provide ongoing support to new hires and their managers during onboarding, ensuring comprehensive training conducive to a productive learning environment.
- o Lead the student assistant development program, fostering communication with supervisors, staff, educational institutions, and students. Coordinate training and schedules to support both students and the hospital effectively.
- o Implement clinical protocols and patient care standards, ensuring efficient management of documentation and tasks.
- o Equip clinical staff with essential skills for executing relevant clinical techniques.
Clinical Support Manager
- Develop a deep understanding of the Emergency and Specialty Departments to effectively advocate for and implement necessary actions that enhance service quality.
- Inform the Director of Clinical Support about training needs and workflow inefficiencies in clinical support personnel.
- Recommend optimal placements for clinical support staff based on licensure and skills to maximize effectiveness.
- Serve as the face of the MVA Emergency and Specialty Departments, ensuring client and hospital needs are met while respecting departmental priorities.
- Organize the Clinical Support staff schedule for comprehensive coverage.
- Assist Clinical Managers with impactful work interviews to identify talent.
- Collaborate with staff on Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) to reach key benchmarks.
- Monitor employee satisfaction and identify conflicts or inefficiencies, collaborating with management on realistic solutions.
- Create an inspiring environment that motivates employees to succeed.
- Partner with Education and Development Coordinators to offer tailored opportunities for skill development through effective plans.
- Exemplify company values while pursuing practice goals.
Patient Care
o Assist in executing process changes that improve patient care services and patient management
o Assist in the implementation of, and adherence to, approved clinical protocols and patient care and triage standards
o Maintain department meeting agendas and associated meeting minutes
o Work with other Education and Development Coordinators to cross-train Emergency and Specialty Department clinical support staff
o Ensure the practice complies with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures in the clinical area, according to state and federal law, in concert with the Director of Clinical Support, Clinical Support Managers, Medical Director, and Hospital Administrator
Quality Assurance
- Evaluate the outcomes of implemented changes to ensure they effectively meet our defined goals.
- Utilize relevant information and resources to proactively anticipate, identify, diagnose, and resolve any emerging problems.
- Meticulously identify and address any potential deviations from OSHA or AAHA guidelines to uphold our commitment to safety and quality standards.
