As a current Public Health major pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree at Chaminade University of Honolulu, I am committed to advancing my knowledge in the field of healthcare and public wellness. While I am in the early stages of my academic journey in Honolulu, my previous experience as an Associate in Nursing back in the Republic of Marshall Islands has provided me with valuable insights into the healthcare sector. During my internship at a local hospital, I worked in the maternity ward, where I actively participated in assisting with vaginal deliveries and closely observed cesarean sections. Additionally, I had the opportunity to engage in postpartum care for both mothers and newborns for a period of four months.
Before transferring to Chaminade University, I completed at least three semesters at the University of Guam. I am eager to leverage my educational and practical background to contribute positively to the field of public health and further my academic and professional development."
