My name is Michael A. Rodriguez and I've been in the barbering industry for over 20 years. My journey started back in the 8th grade. I started giving myself buzz cuts and fading the sides on my own hair. I did a good enough job that my brothers and a few close friends took notice. What started out as an attempt to have a half decent appearance turned in to a high school job. My very first job! Before the end of my freshman year I was cutting hair in my garage every day after school. I've done several other jobs in my lifetime from sales to management and industrial experience as well. I honestly feel like my calling in life was to be a barber. It took me a long time to officially make this my career, but I believe that my passion for this craft has excelled me to the top of the list of professionals in our area. I don't consider myself the best by far but I know I am great at what I do. I have gone from having a hobby/side job to having a full blown professional career and being an entrepreneur and owning my own barbershop in the last six years. My new goal is to become an educator and not only guide the next generation to success but also continue to grow in the industry and stay relevant through our next generation.
