Lead Physical Therapist (June 2015- current)

• Onboarding of all new staff members in rehab dept on EMR systems, daily task expectations, and any IT requirements of the dept
• Super User for EMR systems (Athena, WebPT)
• Data collection and reporting of all department productivity and performance indicators for inpatient rehab, sub-acute rehab, cardiac rehab and outpatient rehab services (PT, OT, Speech).
• Assist rehab director with all research projects (National Critical Access Hospital Performance Improvements, Post-COVID-19 Rehab Protocol)
• Educated patients on proper body mechanics, posture correction, and home exercise routines to prevent future injuries.
• Improved patient mobility by implementing personalized therapeutic exercise programs and manual therapy techniques.
• Contributed to interdisciplinary team meetings for better coordination of care among healthcare professionals involved in the patients'' recovery process.
• Educated families and caregivers on treatment program's for improved at-home support.
