Summary

Hardworking Medical Laboratory Scientist bring 12 years of expertise in microbiology, blood bank, urine analysis, chemistry and hematology testing needs. Skilled multitasker with good communication and problem-solving skills. Proven history of maintaining equipment and lab areas in alignment with regulatory guidelines. For the last two years I have worked at the Microbiology Center of Excellence at Rose Medical Center as a Microbiologist. This includes gram stains, culture setup and culture reading, and PCR for all of Colorado HCA hospitals and free-standing ERs. Before working at the MCOE I was a generalist for 6 years at Rose Medical Center Core Laboratory. My time as a generalist there included positions as an evening coordinator, and then later as the Hematology/Blood Bank coordinator. I started my laboratory career as a generalist at Porter Adventist Hospital for almost 4 years. Through these years working in a hospital laboratory environment I have been on every shift and have seen the unique experiences each shift has. I am a hard worker giving the best I can for our patients and strive to perform quality work in a timely fashion.
