Dr. Jessica Boyer, DACM, L.Ac., brings a rare combination of clinical expertise, anatomical precision, and holistic healthcare knowledge to her teaching and practice. With 15 years of experience as a Forensic Autopsy Assistant at the San Diego Medical Examiner’s Office, she has developed a deep understanding of human anatomy, pathology, and the complex interplay of disease processes. This background has also shaped her approach to education—infusing her teaching with clarity, compassion, and real-world insight.
Now transitioning from Teacher-in-Training to Adjunct Faculty, Dr. Boyer is passionate about bridging Eastern and Western medical perspectives. She is committed to fostering a dynamic learning environment that supports student growth, critical thinking, and integrative clinical excellence.
She is also scheduled to complete the Sports Medicine Acupuncture Certificate (SMAC) in October 2025, further expanding her clinical skillset and enhancing her ability to teach advanced, orthopedic-focused acupuncture techniques.
Dr. Boyer seeks to contribute to a fast-paced academic or clinical setting alongside a dedicated, growth-oriented team.
