Summary

Since 2008, I have served as a consultant and considered a trusted advisor for the United States Treasury (TNet). I co-authored the Systems Design Document (SDD) along with updating versions of the current network. The network is a Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS 140-2) which implements a 128-bit encrypted, hierarchical design. One advantage of the network is it takes advantage of the Quality of Service (QOS) which permits Voice over IP (VoIP) or Streaming Data to take precedence over other types of traffic. Once we completed the buildout of the Tnet, I contributed to the success of the account by leading calls that involved spoke sites. My primary task is to lead technical calls where I direct participants, even the IRS, on the tasks that needs executed. I am the technical lead and person of authority of these calls. AT&T was awarded another 12-year contract by the United States Treasury and I feel that my individual contribution helped with AT&T in securing that contract.

  • As a Lead Consultant and trusted advisor to the Treasury, I fostered and communicated a shared vision to exploit technical innovations for the benefit of AT&T and its clients by implementing next-generation technologies and network advancements in AT&T’s services and operations.
  • Served as an advisor on integrating IT programs with other agencies of equivalent complexity.
  • Developed Method of Procedure (MoP) for resources, planning, testing, deploying standards and training. Once the MOP is in production, I evaluated and recommended changes that streamlined the expected results
  • The United States Treasury initiated a directive to modernize over multiple agencies. One being the IRS which consisted of over 600 spoke and other agencies including DO and TIGTA. This required developing an agency wide IT network solution using OSI Layers 2, 3 and 4 solutions eliminating potential critical issues.
  • Developed and identified guidelines for deploying the IRS modernization network including bandwidth requirements and hardware requirements.
  • During the Tnet modernization project I promoted efficient IT operations by leveraging common technology solutions to improve business processes and reduce costs of IT activities.
  • Evaluated
  • The project involved the deployment of a Gigabit Ethernet solution a Riverbed and in some cases the Fortinet appliance. Focusing on promoting efficient IT operations, we collaborated with the network security group to assist in writing a script that would auto generate augmented configuration files.
