  • In this position, I am an Eligibility Support representative for the Department of Texas Health and Human Commission and attend the 2-1-1 line.
  • My role consists of assisting clients with their benefit status information, verifying documents, providing procedure dates, and connecting them to other departments for more detailed assistance.

  • I was hired and transitioned over to Maximus in June 2024. I still kept the same role of Keep and Discard, but became officially hired on by Maximus.
  • Soon after, I was added to a new trial project of FFM applications along with 20 other individuals. In this project, I would intake CMA/CHIP applications and enter them into TIERS. Entering all of the information provided by the client and what was requested by Panviva. After entering all the information in TIERS, we would leave the task to be worked on by HHSC. This project was meant to be a trial period to see if it would be effective and permanent. The project was terminated due to an update in Texas Law prohibiting individuals without proper training from entering information into TIERS. I was then moved back to the Keep and Discard program after the end date of the FFM project.

  • With AppleOne, I was working for MAXIMUS as a Data Entry Clerk. In this position, I would process Children’s Medicaid and CHIP applications into TIERS. Always making sure to follow Panviva exactly as it reads to avoid errors. I would read and review the applications to verify that the information being entered was correct and in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • I also worked on a second project of Keep and Discard. In this project, we would review changes and verify if they were completed in TIERS. In this role, we as a group assisted HHSC in completing a backlog of previous change forms and were able to catch up to the newest applications.
