Executed daily inspections on vehicles prior to operation. Assist shelter staff, supervisors, case mangers, clinicians, kitchen, maintenance, security, pd, apd, shift leader with any program/ department needs.

• Transportation specialists manage transportation processes across a wide variety of cities. We coordinate the movement of clients, ensure a safe, smooth, and comfortable trip for all clients until they arrive to their destination safe. We also drive clients to their destinations if needed.

• Maintain scheduling up to date every week. Assign drivers their destinations and set up hotels if needed. Fuel drivers daily. Inspected job sites and vehicles routinely. Assist drivers with any needs questions or concerns with payroll, dispatch, vehicle needs, etc. Occasionally train new hires, paperwork, instruct and do ride alongs with new drivers in a TMA truck mounted attenuator, which is a half semi truck vehicle with air breaks that does not require a cdl.
• Responsibilities

• Oversee the whole direct care staff in charge of supervising the youth that would show up to are medical clinic seeking medical attention. Entire staff consisted of 15-20 direct care staff memebers at times. Make sure all exits would be covered and that all youths were at ration with enough staff in the clinc while being attended by the nurses and MA's.

• Supervise youth from Staff Secure section. Youth from the staff secure section are troubled kids that need a little more understanding. Our responsibility as a youth care worker is to supervise and always be there for the youths needs. Guide them into a different path that they're in and simply understand their needs. We also need to always monitor them at every moment and make sure no physical or verbal altercations break out.
• Responsibilities

• Assist customers with any needs, prepare online orders, organize backroom merchandise, fix wrenches for customers, fix lawn mowers/ weed eaters/ chainsaws/ etc. Unload trailers, and distribute merchandise that belonged on the floor. I would also ring up any refrigerators, washers, dryers, etc. televisions and other electric products to the backroom pick up area so we could load the customers vehicle with their purchased item.
• Skills Used: Excellent customer service, great people skills, multi-tasking, and strength to carry heavy items such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, and stoves.

• I was in charge of an entire dorm consisting of 60 or more children and 5 to 10 direct care employees. My duties were mainly to keep an accurate head count every hour and to monitor all of my staff members actions towards the children and make sure all of the clients were treated well and with respect. I also helped out my employees with whatever needs they had or any situations they would encounter with the clients.
• Accomplishments: I accomplished so many things while working with this company, I only worked as a regular employee for about a week and a half before becoming a unit manager. I learned so much from all the kids at that shelter and some of my fellow employees, and I also found out I have so much potential in myself.
• Skills Used: Great people person, I usually get along with everyone I meet. I also had to multi-task so much in this job, but it showed me how to become way more patient and be a well respected figure of authority.

• Secure client areas, observe and report on my daily log for any suspicious activities or any trespassers. Provide customer service to truck drivers by greeting them and showing them which lot to park and unload.
• Skills Used: Excellent vigilance skills, customer service, able to interact and communicate with truck drivers from various ethnic backgrounds and different languages.

• Take care of client/patient, assist them with any needs, prepare meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Accomplishments: Helped out the patient by teaching her many new things like reading, writing her name and counting, I also learned a lot about this very wonderful, unique, and wonder person with Down syndrome.
