As an automation tech in Sofidel, I learned to work on everything while under a time constraint. I learned many different programmings languages like Workshop 505, Siemens Step 7, Siemens Step 5, Siemens TIA Portal, Siemens Simotion Scout, Allen-Bradley RSLinx, Allen-Bradley Studio 5000, Allen-Bradley Logix 500 and 5000, and Allen-Bradley Factory Talk view. I learned how to program, how to navigate, and how to establish a communication link with each of these programs. I had to constantly troubleshoot electrical problems concerning drives and safety PLCs like, Pillz. I know how to operate a Fanuc robot using a teach pendant and I understand many of the common faults that come with a Fanuc robot. I have also worked an two different types of Laser Guided Vehicles. I've had to troubleshoot many motors, as my time as an automation technician. I've had to use ariel lifts to get to high to reach places like overhead cranes. I also had to work with a lot of Microsoft tools, and 3D software like AutoCAD.
