• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME), Technical Advisor (TA), and consultant to the Marine Corps Maintenance Contractor (MCMC) responsible for the proper Preservation, Packaging, and Packing (PP&P) of Marine Corps assets assigned and to support the Maritime Prepositioning Force (MPF) Program.
• Plan and conduct Quality Assurance (QA) Audits of MCMC PP&P operations to include, but not limited to: random samplings of work-in-progress (WIP), audit of internal business practices, processes, and procedures, review of quality management systems, compliance to contractual requirements outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW), published Work Instructions (WI), and all applicable Marine Corps Orders (MCO), directives and Technical Manuals (TM).
• Supervise all physical transactions involving the placement and/or removal of all serialized weapons and/or equipment being temporarily stored within the Blount Island Command (BIC) Armory awaiting maintenance, PP&P services, and/or backload.

• Successfully managed and supervised the Quality Assurance section and monitored Household Goods Shipment for 18 PPSOS's in the JPPSO SE Area of Responsibility (AOR).

• Successfully managed the process of Preapprovals for Approved/Denied requests in accordance with the Defense Transportation Regulation Part IV (DTR) and United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) directives/instructions.

• Flawlessly coordinated the issuance Letters of Warning/Suspension to Transportation Service Providers due to Tender of Service/Business rules violations of the guidelines set forth in the Defense Personal Property Program Domestic 400 NG Tariff Publication, the international Tender, the Defense Transportation Part IV, or guidance provided by the Surface Deployment and Distribution Command.

• Inspected Non-Temporary Storage (NTS) contractor warehouse facilities for the purpose of ensuring existing facilities met the required standards for participation in the DoD Personal Property Program.

• Made resourcing decisions to solve emerging issues and government-assigned tasks.

• Knowledgeable in all manners of distribution, transportation, and DoD logistics.

• Experience in Program/Project Management.

• Lead multiple distribution liaison teams in direct support of the 15 Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), Special Purpose MAGTF and Maritime Propositioning Force (MPF).

• Managed data reports for analyzed products for accuracy and inform EDD leadership of trends gathered through analysis.

• Subject matter expert in MAGTF Material Distribution Center, while working with MAGTF Logistics Initiatives (MLI), Naval Logistics Initiative (NLI).

• Address USMC/Navy cargo problems related to standard port procedures (violation of which results in discrepancies).

• Aided aerial/seaport customer service representatives regarding DoD transiting shipments.

• Assist aerial/seaport customer service representatives by facilitating Marine Corps/Navy process improvements to minimize the occurrence of Marine Corps/Navy sponsored frustrated cargo.

• Resolve/Process all frustrated cargo to ensure compliance with both aerial port and DoD requirements.

• Monitor all cargo movements through all modes of transportation from origin to destination to provide feedback on the effectiveness of the defense transportation system in meeting the Time Definite Delivery (TDD) and operational need goals timelines. Provide analysis and trends on findings.

• Functional knowledge of sea, rail, truck and air load operations.

• Manage numerous aspects of the unit Hazardous Material/Hazardous Waste program.

• Manage or assist in the operation of the Marine Corps Ground Safety Program in compliance with the Code of Federal Regulations.

• Experience with certifying in Hazardous Declaration of Dangerous Goods.

• Have functional knowledge of the Air Load Planning and Port Support Activity requirements.

• Utilize AIS that are used throughout DTS to account, track, and interface movement data with load planning programs and joint AIS to support the Force Deployment Planning and Execution (FDPE) process, supply chain management, and In Transit Visibility (ITV).

• Conduct container management to include receipt, issue and agriculture inspection.

• Thoroughly familiar with the enlistment process from applicant prospecting to preparation for recruit training. Work in an environment external to the normal Marine Corps post, station, and Fleet Marine Force (FMF) environments. Typical functions of the recruiter include preliminary screening and administrative processing, scheduling physical examinations, completion of enlistment documents, and maintaining accurate records per references. Also provide the community with Marine Corps publicity material and assist in civic events.
