Jiakai Zhang

I am an international student from China who spent the first semester of my freshman and sophomore years at the State University of New York at Binghamton. I haven't chosen a major yet, but I'm leaning towards economics and accounting. In the whole process of my freshman year, my grades gradually improved,and i completed all of my basic courses in economics and calculus as a freshman, which helped me get into my new school. I had strong adaptability, and my social skills helped me improve my language skills. I had many local American friends in Binghamton, and through studying and doing sports with them, I quickly got to know the local American culture. They would share some of their daily life with me, and I would also share some interesting places or things in China with others, which enabled me to quickly adapt to students in different parts of the United States.

I participated in volunteer activities in China, and in order to better learn economics, I also participated in the summer camp organized by China Everbright Bank, and successfully completed the speech. I have many hobbies, such as badminton and football. I have participated in many big football leagues in China and won awards. During my freshman year in the United States, I also signed up for campus football leagues on the imleagues platform and ranked first in the weekly scorer list.

I really hope to enter Ohio State University, because your university's US ranking and QS ranking are among the top in the world, so I really hope to have the opportunity to enter Ohio State University to complete my study. I will study harder and hope to bring more honors and awards to the university!
