Jill Collins

With my diverse background in employment, I have adapted many skills which will help me make a great Medical Assistant. I am currently getting certified as a Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, and ECG Technician and will finish my certification by the beginning of May. This certification, coupled with my background in sales, customer service, and administrative work will make me a great asset as a Medical Assistant. I am a strong communicator and I work well with patients and colleagues which fosters a welcoming environment for everyone. I have learned how to adapt to stressful situations and quickly come up with solutions. I exhibit self discipline and am willing to work hard which can be seen in my past jobs, education, and extracurricular activities. As a sales associate, I was awarded the top salesman and sold more product than any of my colleagues. In school, I maintain a high GPA despite the rigorous course load. I am the President of the Brigham Young surf team and I oversee fundraising, including contest and traveling expenses, and I lead the only landlocked collegiate surf team in the United States.
