I teach a field of study focused on people-centered sciences, specifically, the science and art of living and working well in our complex world. Through research, experiential education, and technology, I help students develop the essential knowledge and skills to: Lead better lives; be work & career-ready; build strong families; and make meaningful contributions to our communities.

I specifically taught students Food Science & nutrition; health management & wellness; human/child development & family relations —sustainable practices, consumerism, and leadership principles- woven throughout the content areas.

Developed strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues by maintaining open lines of communication and fostering a supportive learning environment.
