Accomplishments
During my 22 year tenure in the surgical services department of JFK Medical Ctr I have been asked by my Director to cover several different positions within the department. I was the asked to cover the preoperative Charge Nurse position for three years due to a lack in coverage. I covered the charge desk in to OR during gaps in staffing. I was asked to be the educator for the perioperative department which I enjoyed for six years. I was the cardiothoracic surgical coordinator for 15 years I've been asked to cover many different positions with in the department and I have enjoyed them all.
