• Review the work order demand from MRP to support the company's requirements.
• Work closely with the Planning team to identify material planning needs, and develop plans accordingly.
• Manage inventory control systems to track stock levels, deliveries, and related information.
• Review purchase orders for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Expedite open purchase orders and shipments in transit through communication with suppliers.
• Resolve any discrepancies between purchase orders and actual receipts of goods or services.

• Management of inventory and max and minimum stock of the equipment, tools and supplies associated with the daily operations of the business with our VMI to ensure the proper material is available on time.
• Evaluation of current suppliers and potential new business partners.
• Point of contact for end-user and supplier regarding the acquisition of new indirect materials, quotations and vendor selection.
• Control and supervision of the purchasing requisitions, setting up a minimum quantity of quotations needed for specific materials and services.

Achievements

• Reduction of time-out for indirect materials and increase of material availability from 78% to 95% in 6 months.
• February 2022 brought the company a new price for a top offender product that will total a 150K savings a year.

• Max and minimum stock of materials in Toolcrib area.
• Track of the G/L Account Spend for all the variable accounts in the plant, based on analysis of open PO, spend and accruals of each department against the Budget.
• Handle of possible holds from suppliers due to lack of payment, working with large volume of Purchase Orders and Invoices.
• Implementation of new policies regarding the way requisitions are made to ensure the correct usage of ERP platforms.
• Point of contact regarding issues with system, update or creation of new suppliers with approval of sourcing to ensure quality and needs of the plant are met.

• In charge of local suppliers and the Input and Output of materials to rework, ensuring their return according to the requirements and specifications.
• Handling emergencies and planning local logistics every day.
• Follow-up of the analysis of the expense and the processes of purchase of indirect materials: Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Invoicing, and solving issues regarding the payments of the materials previously received.
