  • Lead a 22-person team to implement cross-functional projects in the areas of business intelligence reporting, data governance, and artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML).
  • Project management: weekly cost, schedule and progress reporting; quarterly program review with customer and leadership; ROM estimation, Investment Review Board (IRB) approval, Change Control Board (CCB), and contract management.
  • Provide development team technical guidance, review work deliverables through the agile process, mitigate risks, and fulfill requirement gaps.
  • Lead four AI/ML initiatives concurrently for three different program offices. These AI-powered tools automate data mapping, document and workflow generation, crash narrative categorization, image analysis and comment analysis. Responsible for technical implementation, business requirements, ROM estimates, project initiation, sprint review, and product delivery through agile methodology.
  • Collaborate with the technical manager to oversee the Tableau report portfolio for the agency and provide ongoing development and maintenance for a dozen active reports through Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Pipeline.
  • Support the agency’s Chief Data Officer in establishing a data platform, adopting data governance practices to conform to DOT’s data standards.
