Originally from Harbin, China – known for its standard Mandarin and clear accent – I graduated from Harbin Normal University with a degree in education. I hold a China’s national teaching certification and a Mandarin proficiency certification. Since 2018, I have been teaching Chinese at Chinese community schools in the U.S., and from March 2023 to the present, I have been teaching at Diplomatic Language Services (DLS), where I have had the privilege of teaching a diverse range of students, including diplomats, U.S. military personnel, and government employees. With over five years of experience in Mandarin instruction, I am well-versed in teaching both children and adults. My academic background includes coursework in educational psychology and the fundamentals of education, which has further enhanced my ability to engage students and meet their learning needs. Fluent in both Mandarin and English, I am passionate about helping students develop their language skills while fostering cultural understanding.
Currently pursuing a full-time role that presents professional challenges and allows me to leverage my interpersonal skills, effective time management, and problem-solving expertise. I am eager to contribute to a dynamic team and help achieve organizational goals while continuing to grow professionally.
