Jiten Bhula

I am an experienced physician with over 7 years of practice in family medicine, emergency medicine, and inpatient medicine. I possess the necessary skills to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions and I am proficient in performing ER trauma-based procedures, including advanced airway management. In my current position as a physician at Moore County Medical District since 2017, I simultaneously manage a medium volume emergency room, a 25-bed inpatient service, and a 6-bed ICU service. In addition, I attend to an attached 45-bed nursing home and I am the lead attending for our nursery where I perform all newborn examinations and manage complications of birth and neonate admissions During the peak of COVID I served as the lead physician coordinator for our COVID-19 response. In this role, I was responsible for creating our COVID-19 protocols and I assisted in procuring essential equipment such as ventilators and high-flow oxygen supplies, as well as repurposing our respiratory department into a COVID hall that accommodated over 20 ventilator dependent COVID-19 patients.
