Summary

Seasoned customer service professional seeks a position as a Case Manager in a correctional facility. I currently work with level III predatory sex offenders who are under the management of the Minnesota DOC in a residential treatment setting. I hold a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist credential with a Forensic endorsement. This training has prepared me to administer case management to offenders. My direct approach and ability to build rapport quickly will help me connect to the clients using strong communication techniques, interpersonal skills and active listening learned when I studied human behavior and Psychology in college. My experience in criminal defense law has exposed me to PSI's, court proceedings, how probation and parole work and also, the criminal justice process from both sides. Here in Minnesota, I have volunteered as a Human Rights Court Observer in ICE detention hearings and removal proceedings, helping me understand the work needed on an ongoing basis in that space. I am keenly organized, very detail-oriented, dependable and a team player.
