  • Squad Leader in charge of security for a MARSOC compound that was conducting reconnaissance and direct action operations against an IED production facility in a training environment. My role within the compound was Planning and conducting security and reconnaissance patrols, QRF drills utilizing light tactical vehicles and ensuring proper manning of gun positions and armored vehicles at all times.
  • Developed the ability to react promptly, appropriately, and decisively in emergency situations, my duties required maintaining situational awareness and the ability to make split-second decisions under pressure.
  • During the little creek training exercise on joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story, Virginia, manned a 240B on ship on ship security to facilitate amphibious operations and conducted a combined arms raid for hostage rescue.
  • Assigned to the QRF team, translator and personal security of the company commander while providing aid to civilian populace for humanitarian relief during Marine Corps Combat Readiness Evaluations. Assisted in riot control and screening civilians at the gate for access to the compound.
  • Led reconnaissance training missions integrated with scout swimmers, conducted maritime security patrols and ship boarding operations. Organized and trained boat teams to execute maritime combat operations, developed and executed detailed navigation plans for marine operations, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of personnel and equipment.
  • Conducted Mountain Warfare Training Center in Bridgeport, California, training includes techniques in navigation, survival, climbing, skiing, and small unit tactics under harsh conditions. Preparing me for altitude, weather, and rugged terrain.
  • Trained and instructed over 60 Marines in combat marksmanship and weapon manipulation and implemented corrective measures and tailored training plans to enhance marksmanship fundamentals such as sight alignment, trigger control, and follow-through.
