I studied automotive technology for 4 semesters at a community College. I have a passion for mechanics and understanding how systems operate.
I was also employed as a CNC machinist for an areospace manufacturing company. I was able to apply my automotive technology education during my employment as a CNC machinist. Understanding tolerances and consistency in manufacturing. Operating a large 5 axis CNC machine also gave me experience with operating large machinery.
Ultimately i decided to make a career out of plumbing. I knew very little about plumbing when i first started 7+ years ago, ive since had years of experience in both commercial and residential plumbing. Working in the Seattle area as a commercial plumber before the pandemic shut down. Then i started working for a real estate company as their plumber for service calls and Remodeling. This last year ive been trying my hand at service plumbing with black hills inc. Although i excel at the plumbing aspect of my current position, im beginning to understand that salesmanship aspect of service plumbing is equally important. I dont enjoy being a sales person at all. I can navigate service titan and my customer service is 5 star. For this reason im exploring options that are better fit for me.
