Summary

I have three years of experience at the Yates Leadership Challenge Course at the New Mexico Military Institute, where I progressed from belayer and facilitator to High Ropes Course Manager. In my current role, I oversee course operations, ensure participant safety, conduct inspections, and facilitate leadership-based activities, including high elements such as rappelling and zip lines. I have received three years of ACCT training through the New Mexico Military Institute, Alpine Towers and attended the 2026 ACCT Conference to further develop my knowledge of industry standards and best practices. My experience as a peer tutor has strengthened my communication skills and ability to adapt to different learning styles. Additionally, my leadership experience at New Mexico Military Institute includes serving as Squad Leader and Command Sergeant Major, where I helped lead and mentor approximately 400 cadets. I am pursuing a long-term goal of becoming a Challenge Course Inspector and Trainer and am eager to continue developing my skills in the field.
