Providence Queen of the Valley Napa Telemetry - Preceptorship - October-December 2023 (144 hours)

During my preceptorship at Queen of the Valley, I gained hands on clinical experience involving the admission process, head-to-toe assessment, charting, presenting reports in SBAR format, and interpreting EKGs. I provided safe oral, topical, IV, and subcutaneous medication administration by educating my patients and reviewing their vital signs or laboratory results prior to administration. After completing my preceptorship, I have gained independence and confidence in handling a full patient load and providing high quality patient centered care.
