- Gained time management and effective communication skills through helping host a number of events. Including Hayward Anniversary celebration and Hayward 4th of July Festival.
- Attended City Planning, City Attorney, and Parks and Recreation meetings to view the development of solutions for city concerns. Examples being programs for quick mental health assistance for houseless individuals.
- Attended Hayward Democratic Club and Latino Business Club meetings to analyze organizations relationship with the community through philanthropic work.
- Gained hand's on experience on addressing city concerns by volunteering at non-profits such as Salvation Army. Additionally gained lived experience with low-income and houseless individuals by packaging lunches and engaging with them.
- Received shout-outs and positive comments from members at International Rotary Club for Club assignments, showing dedication and passion for my work.
- Efficiently and effectively completed Rotary Club assignments on behalf of the city which included: hand delivering donated books to elementary schools and attending cub scout meetings.
- Received positive feedback from my supervisor for attending meetings early in the morning and late into the night alongside attending school with extracurriculars.
