Redeployment unit post Hurricane Helene

• Med surge level patient care with focus on patients requiring in patient dialysis
• Time management with medication administration of 6 patients
• Recognizing changing clinical conditions in low acuity renal patients, prompt notification of provider to prevent further deterioration of condition

• Long Term Acute Care
• High observation patients requiring ventilation
• Progressive care patients preparing for in-patient rehab or discharge to SNF
• Long term IV antibiotics
• Complex wound care
• Collaboration with inpatient therapies, providers, and families
• Comfort Care

• Documented appropriate patient activity including meals, intake and output, ambulation assistance and hygiene.
• Transfer non ambulatory patients with manual and mechanical lifts.
• Answered patient assistance calls, assessed needs, and offered qualified support in patient care.
• Obtained patient vital signs and reported results to staff nurse or therapist.
• Supported patient admissions, discharges, and transfers to promote team productivity.

• Visit client three days per week to provide supervision, assist with activities of daily living.
• Coordinate client care with family members and provide companionship.
