- In this post what we would technically do was basically do things alike to what an actual Border Patrol officer does, which is track footprints, workout, practice shooting at the shooting range, have meetings every Saturday and learn the law of Border Patrol and it’s history
- Also during those meetings we would practice officers presence, integrity, use of force and how to attend a traffic stop properly
- Just like any law enforcement organization except it was just practice, we as well had to go through an academy and pass it
- The academy required you to pass a written test, a training workout exam, and a swimming rescue exam
- I attended this program for about two years before COVID-19 started and I really enjoyed being there.
