• Responsible for helping to manage the total store daily, making sure all department are compliant with all the processes and procedures, working with Team member on Customer Service, Inventory for perishable departments and total store, Merchandising, Ordering, AD prep, reviewing P&Ls, working with all department managers on managing the business.
• Responsible for the overall customer satisfaction in the store. Additionally, the Service Manager manages the front-end operations of an assigned store with oversight of the entire store, and fills in for the Store Manager, Perishable Manager, or Non-Perishable Manager in their absence. The Service Manager plans and prepares work schedules, supervises team members, and ensures compliance with established security, sales, and record keeping procedures and practices. In addition to support of overall store operations, has responsibility for all front-end positions including Scan Coordinators, Back-Up Scan, and Head Cashiers.

• Supervise 2-3 Loss prevention associates responsible for observing, pursuing, and detaining potential shoplifters, review price changes by departments to find potential shrink, work closely with accounting office to research long and shorts to find potential employee theft. Part of a team that goes to high shrink stores to help find issues that may be causing shrink. Work closely with the Store Manager to review day to day operations of Safety and Shrink with in the store.

• Manage a 35K facility, generating $27M in revenue a year. Supervise 50+ employees with accountability for scheduling, timecards, inventory control, merchandising, P&L and sales forecasting. Provide weekly/monthly reports, open and close responsibility, cash and credit card handling and reduction in shrinkage.

• Managed 50-80 employee’s managers in a 42,000 sq. ft. facility. Provided leadership, sales forecasting, budgets, scheduling and execution of company standards. Other duties beyond scope of Support Manager include all hiring and benefits management of hourly associates. Promoted to management training program from this position.

• Responsible for standards within several different departments in various stores. Provided supervision to employees and reported to multiple managers. Responsible for inventory control, food and general merchandising.

• Coordinated educational programs for diverse student populations in local district schools.
• Developed training materials to support teacher professional development initiatives.
• Collaborated with community organizations to enhance student learning opportunities.

Taught Cherokee Cultural to 2nd-5th graders.

Tutored the Native American Students whom were struggling in certain subjects.
