review it. - Complete and submit the Aspire state grant.
- Stay current on state policies, attended bi-weekly virtual administrator meetings, and participate in
the State Director meeting. - Manage day-to-day program responsibilities (incoming calls, classroom and staff issues, payroll, etc.).
- Complete all Aspire requisitions and purchases.
- Keep the website and catalog up to date.
- Attend partner meetings and Apollo’s manager meetings.
- Create monthly data reports, monitored Aspire data regularly, and made program adjustments as
needed. - Wrap up monthly attendance and reports and shared updates with staff.
- Meet regularly with program managers to brainstorm, problem-solve, and set individual and program goals.
- Interview, hire, and assist in training new staff on Aspire policies, procedures, and classroom
expectations. - Observe staff in the classroom, complete evaluations, and create improvement plans when
needed. - Hold monthly one-on-one meetings with HSE staff to review data, address questions and concerns, and
focus on students’ individual learning plans. - Lead three staff meetings and coordinated with Adult Diploma Program on the HSE/ADP graduation.
- Develop monthly Aspire updates and calendars.
- Collaborate with program managers to develop new classes and strategies to support the growing
number of English Language Learners. - Serve on the OAACE (Ohio Association for Adult and Continuing Education) board and co-presented at the OAACE Conference.
