Designed and installed a Acacia koa progeny trial on former sugar cane fields in Opaeula. Collected and propagated local native plant seed stock. Collected GPS locations of trails throughout the Kawailoa Plantation.

Assisted forester on the Acacia koa Improvement Program. Managed forestry greenhouse which included the propagation and growout of koa seedlings and other plants needed for various forestry/agroforestry projects. Assisted in the installation of koa progeny test. Maintained HARC's koa test sites and seed collections. Assisted in grant writing and prepared reports for grants received. Conducted germination experiments for different native plant species and various Eucalyptus species. Propagated agricultural crop plants for other HARC staff. Supervised summer interns.
