I am a seasoned lab tech who has always kept the goal of quality patient care as the standard that drives my work. Quality in the lab starts with keeping instruments at optimal performance, with preventative maintenance and TLC, and quality control that is watched carefully. I also love to teach and support newer techs to help them become stronger techs. I believe in the strength of teamwork and the ability to accomplish more when people work together. As a life long learner, I think the opportunity to come back to the hospital setting will help satisfy that quest for new knowledge and skills. I have a very strong background but feel that I am capable of more in my career.

  • FCMG is a very busy physician owned laboratory that runs 2 million tests yearly. Hematology will run 350-400 CBC's on a daily basis. I am responsible for the oversight of all duties in Hematology as well as work the bench for 3 other workstaitions on rotation.

  • Worked with our pathologist to set up policy and procedure for sending abnormal slides for pathology review
