- As a project engineering co-op, I had the opportunity to work hands on with engineers during two major steam turbine outages. I was able to witness a rings-off inspection at MD&A Turbine-Generator Repair Facility in St. Louis, MO.
- I was involved in two combination boiler outages for inspections and repairs. I engineered a structural steel support drawing on auto-cad and purchased materials for a new soot blower. I was also involved in the installation of the soot blower.
- I found and participated in an emergency repair for a crack on the support skirt of a pulp digester.
- I am currently assisting in the preparation of the structural steel in the paper machine ceiling for a new power rail on the house crane.
