Responsible for leadership of Commercial GC/ Construction Management Division with 30 salaried management positions, 12 tradesmen and $50 M in annual revenue. (Good and Roberts, LLC is a Division of the C.W. Driver Companies in Southern California.)

Hired in 2006 to open the regional Commercial GC/ Construction Management office in San Diego. Responsibilities included relationship building, project identification and pursuit, estimating and preconstruction services, design phase management, contract negotiation with clients and ongoing maintenance of client relationships. Direct reports included business development group, estimating group and all office administrative staff. Office attained $100M in annual revenue in 4 years.

Managed a 13 person staff of estimators and administrative staff. Responsible for all bids and budgets coming out of the San Diego office for a $100M San Diego Division. Negotiated all Prime Contracts with clients and all subcontracts with the trades. Expertise in design phase management with significant efforts in Design Build delivery of our projects working closely with the local Architect and Engineering community. 80% of projects were awarded on a negotiated basis in a collaborative teaming arrangement.

First experience with the commercial construction business on smaller size projects acting as both estimator and project manager for retail and office project developments. Ended my 10 year tenure here managing a small estimating department.

Responsible for conducting audits of the Technical Specifications for operation of the plant as approved by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Audits were used to demonstrate compliance to the NRC relative to the plant operating license.
