I began in customer service, was promoted to sales and then to Operations Coordinator. As operations coordinator I directed seasonal staff in training and fork lift certification. I scheduled employee shifts and shipments of materials. I resolved credits on returned materials. Out in the yard I conducted inspection rounds to insure safety, proper maintenance and cleanliness. I enforced safety standard rules, operational guidelines and problem solved unexpected situations. I performed minor repairs on machinery and coordinated major repair needs. I acted as manager from 3 pm to 6 pm when the managers shift ended.

• Communicate with workers on the ground directing them to load and unload materials and taking directions from them when loads are in a blind spot.
• Loaded or unloaded deliveries and shipments, taking care to avoid damage and safety risks.
• Manually operated cable winches on tower cranes for lifting heavy objects.
• Completed equipment checks for safety and maintenance
• Read blueprints
