  • Oversee the Body-Worn Camera program within our office; responsible for ensuring accuracy and thoroughness of BWC entries and conducting random reviews.
  • Daily use of database systems, to include CAPTURE, for case entry, inputting/managing significant incidents, threat investigations, use of force incidents, and reviewing investigative and prosecution reports for final approval.

  • Member of the United States Marshals Service Special Operations Group; conducted several international missions, to include deployments to Iraq (2006-2007) and Afghanistan (2011 & 2013).
  • Responsible for overall security of the Iraqi High Tribunal (IHT) Courthouse in Baghdad where the criminal trials of former Iraq President Saddam Hussein and "Chemical" Ali were conducted. Responsible for training the IHT security force, which was comprised of over 100 Iraqi National Police officers. Conducted site security surveys to identify and correct security deficiencies and mitigate threats/risks to all personnel at the IHT.
  • Chaired meetings with Iraq's Minister of Interior to discuss ongoing threats and security issues at the IHT courthouse and sought/received additional funding for personnel and equipment to enhance security operations.
  • Provided briefings to high-level Afghan officials regarding the United States Marshals Service Special Operations Group's involvement with the development of the Afghan Judicial Security Unit (JSU) and conducted training for members of this JSU. Supervised the 10.5 million dollar Task Order 50 construction project for the JSU expansion. Conducted site threat assessments/surveys at several courthouses within the country to help advance the rule of law within Afghanistan.
  • Received a letter of commendation for valor from the U.S. Ambassador to Afghanistan for the recovery of stranded American personnel during an ongoing Taliban attack at the U.S. Embassy.
  • Received 3 separate Director's Awards for these international deployments.
