My objective is to secure full-time work as a bus operator for Tri-Met. I am at a juncture in my life to make a career change, and am looking for steady full-time time work to provide for my family which also contributes to the community. I love the city of Portland and believe driving a bus for Tri-Met can help enhance the city, support its residents, and provide a steady and purposeful form of work for myself.
Public Leadership:

Leadership & Administrative Development:
- Supervise five staff members
- Lead the congregational leadership council
- Provide guidance in key administrative areas including finance, facility and building management, personnel issues, etc.
As an intern with Abiding Hope Church from 2015-2017, I learned overarching skills for ministry, which led to a full time partnership call with Christ the King Lutheran Church from 2016-2022. During my call and period of employment with these two churches I performed the following:
Public Leadership:
- Develop relationships with neighbors and people surrounding our church location, particularly in a diverse setting.
- Provide care and support for members and the diversity of the people who seek care from the church.
- Community organizing around issues that effect members and neighbors of the church.
- Worked with multiple organizations to develop an older church building into a multi-use community center.
- Helped create a pop-up food distribution program during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic.

From 2006-2013 I was a youth director and minister who facilitated youth programs for Faith Lutheran Church. I provided care for youth (junior high and high school) and their families, as well as help nurture leadership development among youth and adults in the congregation. I led retreats, planned events, and provided technical support for many aspects of congregational ministry. Of note for this position - I regularly drove 15 passenger vans safely transporting youth and adults to events and on retreats.
