Summary
My name is Joel Tatro, I was born in Daytona Beach Florida and have lived here in the area my entire life. Early on in life, I was always curious how things worked. This is of course what lead me into the career of an automotive technician. But this desire to learn has branched throughout my entire life. I'm always trying to learn new things and learn as much as I can. Working on vehicle's for a living, you quickly learn that nothing is worth doing unless its done correctly! I've taken this from my experience in vehicle repair and have since used it throughout my entire life. Due to this, I have a very high attention to detail and I strive to make sure things are done right, the first time. Unfortunately on December 7th 2017, I fell ill with health problems and have since been working with doctors to figure out the reasoning for it. I have since been working through the hard times with my health and have been doing much better but have decided against going back into the automotive profession due to injuries and health related concerns. I am limited on some physical things that require a lot of strength due to my health problems but If im applying for a position, I have thoroughly read through the job description and will only apply if im 100% sure I can do every job task required for the position, as I do not like to let myself or anyone else down. Between the dates of 06/02/2014 and 12/08/2020, I worked for Myron's automotive 3 separate times due to running into health issues beginning December 2017. Unfortunately due to these health issues, I am now changing careers to a less physical demanding job. I have been extremely motivated in my career as an automotive technician and still hold the same motivation for any new career that I start. Over the course of being an automotive technician, I have received over 30+ training certificates that have been optional as well as becoming master certified and EPA certified in my career.

Walmart TLE was the beginning of my career, Where I learned a ton of customer service skills. My main job focus was servicing vehicles, Replacing tires and doing oil changes. But also was responsible for calling customers and letting them know their vehicles were ready & dealing with invoices and charges using computers and tablets. I quickly became a trusted team member and was relied on to help with angry customers and was a "go to" person when other technicians needed help. I was later promoted to crew trainer. I left this position after 3 years to expand my career and become a full service automotive technician instead of just an oil change/tire change technician.
