Process Operator
1 Year 8 Months- Operate plant equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation of the plant according to established practices, procedures and operating guidelines
- Proper adjustments of operating conditions, process troubleshooting and close communication with the Board Operator, Operations Shift Supervisor, all other outside operators and Maintenance personnel
- Safely perform plant startup, shutdown, and plant emergency activities
- Conduct regular equipment checks, performing detailed process troubleshooting as required
- Maintain equipment by conducting preventative maintenance including regular equipment checks, troubleshooting, diagnosing problems, providing feedback to Maintenance, entering quality work orders, preparing equipment for maintenance and preparing area for maintenance
Process Operator
5 Years 7 Months- Monitor and operate plant equipment - including start-ups and shut-downs
- Via Distributed Control Systems and/or panel board mounted instruments
- In the field, physical requirements include:
- Perform minor maintenance on equipment and/or work with Maintenance personnel on major repairs
- Understand and follow written or verbal instructions and procedures
- Trouble shoot operational problems
- Follow all safety, environmental, and company rules and policies
- Perform housekeeping tasks necessary to maintain plant and equipment in a neat, orderly condition

Process Operator VCM Unit
5 Years 6 Months- Assist in the operations of the unit using sound and safe environmental procedures.
- Prepare equipment for mechanical repairs according to safe work practices to insure cost effective repairs and prevent exposure of mechanics to hazards
- Insure product conforms to manufacturing specifications and take appropriate actions for conditions outside those specifications
- Other duties as assigned
- Learning VCM unit, Tracing process lines, P&ID's
- Perform sample analysis including using a GC machine, and logging in system
Petroleum Field Inspector
4 Months- Taking Chemical Samples(Pygas,Butene,C-5,Methanol,Propylene,HCL,etc) , measuring, and taking temperature readings of barge tanks, shore tanks
- Following safety procedures and plant procedures and reporting pressure, temperature, and level readings
- Climbing ladders to Gauge shore tanks.

Scaffold Helper/Laborer
2 Months- Assist with building and demolishing scaffolds by using different hand tools such as, handsaw, hammer, level, ratchet socket sets etc.
- Transfer tools, climb up and down scaffold ladder, and reach material to the carpenter
- Stand, stoop, kneel, bend, and carry material up to 40 lbs
- Follow all guidelines and ensure area is clean and safe
