• Responsible for Operation and Maintenance of dual unit Pressurized Water Reactor.
• Drove year-over-year performance improvement in all functional areas including; Operations, Maintenance, Radiation Protection, and Industrial Safety, AFTER, the permanent shutdown announcement for the station had been announced in 2017.
• Improved OHI scores and employee engagement year over year while managing impact from the 4 year planned permanent shutdown of plant.
• Established comprehensive training programs to develop skills, improve productivity, and maintain compliance with industry regulations.

• Responsible for all facets of Engineering at dual unit Pressurized Water Reactor, including design, systems, and plant support

• Responsible for effective scoping, planning and scheduling for both online and refueling outage work at a dual unit pressurized water reactor
• Established cross functional use and accountability of online readiness metrics and drove results to top quartile performance
• Oversaw preparations and execution for 4 Refueling Outages while serving as Outage Director while in position. This resulted in 3 outages meeting all established goals, including a 23 Day duration outage.

• Responsible for administration and implementation of 12 accredited training programs, plus Emergency Preparedness and non accredited training
• Alternated training methods to diversify instruction, strengthen learning opportunities, and enhance program success, including sharing relevant training mock-ups with other sites
• Led successful operator training program accreditation renewal 2011

• Responsible for governance, monitoring and implementation of environmental, health and safety regulations for Steam Generating plants in Con Edison System.
• Conducted periodic cross functional on site audits of station compliance with applicable regulations.
• Collaborated closely with peers from other departments to drive organizational success jointly as one cohesive unit. This included station personnel, legal, and regulators from city, state and federal agencies.

• On shift manager for safe, reliable production, transmission, and distribution of energy (electricity, gas, steam) to meet NYC demands.
• Analyzed and approved planned feeder outages using NERC and company reliability criteria.
• Special assignment as Project Manager for specification development, contract award, and implementation for Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA) system replacement that is still in use today.
• Oncoming shift manager to lead power restoration following August 2003 Northeast Blackout.

• Responsible for safe, reliable and efficient operation of 1000 Mwe pressurized water reactor.
• Led peer managers in cross functional improvements in operating and maintaining facility.
• Leveraged impact training for operator re-qualification to improve job proficiency and performance.
• Transitioned Senior Reactor Operator license holder position from bargaining unit to member of management

Held positions of increasing responsibility at Indian Point Unit 2 ranging from; Assistant Engineer, Operations Shift Supervisor, Watch Engineer (STA), Component Engineer, and Operations Training Manager. This includes successfully obtaining my Senior Reactor Operator License in 1989.
