In addition to supporting the Boiler Division with field services and support on control systems, duties also include design and engineering of the Venergy Group VCX Series Boiler Plant Control system, Technical and field support of existing Hays Cleveland UPAC Control systems under a mutual agreement and support from Hays Cleveland (now known as Cleveland Controls).

Additional duties include:

• design, development and testing of new products specifically for the boiler room.
• development of plc programming for new products
• revise and update plc programming on existing Hays Cleveland UPAC controls for use with updated technology.
• develop standardized department wiring drawings
• develop policies and procedures for department level product development.

Duties include management and scheduling of Unicontrol Inc. service personnel, while still maintaining position as the lead service engineer on engineered systems start-ups, field training and commissioning. Continued work with the Boiler and Burner OEM’s as guest instructor on Draft Control & Parallel Positioning Systems.

Provide technical application training and support to UniControl Inc. employees and customers for control and instrumentation products, installation supervision (consultation) to customers for combustion and other advanced control and instrumentation products. Field site services include startup, commissioning and training activities for Hays Cleveland’s systems and products including written and voice services, documentation and on-site tuning services to optimize response of control systems, including PID controls and logic controls. Is also the lead trainer for burner and boiler OEM’s to provide for the integration and commissioning of Hays Cleveland technology such as UPAC™, AC Stations, DirectLink™, O2 analyzers and other leading edge technologies. Has personally lead the startup, commissioning and training services for over 10 systems including UPAC™, DirectLink™, AC Stations and SCADA.

• Assisted customers in troubleshooting product issues and provided timely technical support.
• Boosted client confidence by delivering professional training sessions on product features and capabilities.
• Utilized creative problem-solving skills to overcome technical challenges in the sales process.

As Technical Support Representative assisted customers by providing technical support for the startup and commissioning of Hays Cleveland products and systems. He was the lead engineer in the checkout and construction of systems and panels. He also participated in the field startup and commissioning of Hays Cleveland technology for over 12 systems.
